Each flat has between 3 and 12 study bedrooms with shared kitchen/diners, bathrooms/showers and toilets. One block with standard rooms is a quiet block where no musical instruments may be played and stereos, radios etc may only be listened to through headphones.

Information
The rooms are a reasonable size, with narrow corridors are quite narrow (80cm in flats) and the kitchen and lounge are one of the few places on campus that still has gas cookers (and a bath in Standard).
Standard flats have issues with Silverfish and, due to their close proximity to many nice green areas, squirrels.
Lafrowda Standard is the cheapest Self-Catered Accommodation at Exeter University, but Lafrowda Enhanced is usually far more popular.

There is a fair amount of variation in the flats in Lafrowda.
The majority of flats have 12 residents to a flat, however the Enhanced flats in blacks N, P, Q and R have 11 residents, in the ground floor of C and D blocks there are some 3 and 5 person flats, at the base of J are two 6 person flats and at the base of K is an 8 person flat.

Contract
There are 39 week and 50 week contracts available, both including the three ten week terms and the Christmas and Easter vacations with the 50 week contract also including the Summer vacations. Freshers week is optional.
Enhanced accommodation is mostly reserved for first year undergraduate and international postgraduate students and allocated over the summer holidays. A small number are let to returning students.
Standard accommodation varies wildly and is let to some returning students in February with a large amount reserved for first years, postgraduates and international students.

Location
Good location on the side of campus with easy access to the Lemmy and town as well as right next to Rowe House, St. Germans and the Exeter Halls.
There is a 24/7 Co-Op/Alldays/Spar/Local Plus/Whoever-bought-it-last within 5 minutes walk for late night munchies and the nearest supermarkets are Somerfield and Iceland at about 15 minutes walk away. Your local pub is either the Lemon Grove, the Ram or the Vic.
