UNICEF Society Launch Child Trafficking Campaign
Exeter UNICEF Society is holding an Art and Poetry Exhibition,
Wednesday March 24th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The exhibition is kindly
being hosted by Castle Galleries, a new gallery opposite the
Cathedral. On display will be art work and poetry contributed by
students at the University of Exeter, based around the theme of
UNICEF’s global work. The entries will be judged towards the end of
the evening, with prizes for the winning poem and winning piece of art
work. The winning art work will remain on display in the gallery for
the public to see during the week following the exhibition. Aside from
the art and poetry on display there will be a display of information
on UNICEF’s End Child Trafficking campaign. Please come along and
support both UNICEF and the talented students who have entered the
exhibition.
Exeter UNICEF Society will also be fundraising for UNICEF’s work
with victims of child trafficking outside Devonshire House from 12-2pm
March 24th, 25th and 26th and in Cornwall House from 12-2pm, March
25th.
